The research conducted by the late Val Hall on the Pubs and publicans of Bradwell – for the years 1577 – 1940 has now been published on the website under Projects.

This is now online and is concerned with the accounts of the business transactions of Robert Hallam and his family, but there are also Tithe records for Bradwell, legal documents, copies of useful information, and a list of births marriages and deaths. Andy

The first face-to-face meeting of the Bradwell Historical Society since February 2020 was held on 21st September 2021 in the Methodist Hall. 16 members attended. The speaker was Mike Storr who spoke on Masters of Mirth from the Music Hall era and recited some their poems and monologues such as Albert and the Lion.
